NEW MHT report: definitions and guidance
The 2008/09 data has been revised to take into account the recently completed national data quality audit and to allow the impact of this audit to be recognised when monitoring performance against the indicator.
Data reported here includes only clients using opiates and/or crack cocaine (i.e. PDUs). This is to bring it line with the definition that is to be used in the CQC assessment (previously these reports were based on all clients aged 18 or over). The frozen dataset has also been changed to report on PDUs and can be used for comparison purposes.
Due to the fact that the majority of clients in treatment present with opiates, crack or both, this has had a very small impact on the reported performance and the comparisons between the two years.
