NDTMS dataset S stakeholder survey

We are pleased to announce that the survey for the National Drug and Alcohol Treatment Monitoring System (NDTMS) dataset S is now open.

We are seeking input from all stakeholders including drug and alcohol treatment providers, commissioners, service users and users of statistics relating to drug and alcohol treatment.

The survey closes at 5pm on Friday 19^th June 2026.

Power BI service down

Because of a global outage of the Microsoft Power BI and Fabric services none of the Power BI based reports are working.

Please await further announcements as we are currently unable to confirm when the Microsoft services will be available again.

Non Power BI reports are still available.

October Data Reports Released

All key reports (local outcomes framework, unmet need toolkit, LA performance and Drug and alcohol related deaths dashboards) produced using Power BI have been updated with October 2025 data.

The older performance reports (successful completions, outcome exceptions and COVID impact report) have been delayed due to a database processing issue. These reports will be released next week (15/01/2025). Please accept our apologies for the delay to these legacy reports.

Drug and alcohol-related deaths (DARD) dashboard now live

The Drug and alcohol-related deaths (DARD) dashboard is now live in the restricted area of ndtms.net (NDTMS - NDTMS reports). This report brings together a range of outcomes and activity indicators that provide information on either the levels of drug and alcohol related mortality and harms, or the evidence-based interventions that local authorities and treatment providers can be providing to have a positive impact on reducing deaths.

Local authority performance dashboard now live

The new local authority performance dashboard is now available on NDTMS.Net (NDTMS - LA performance dashboard). This report brings together data on indicators that drug and alcohol partnerships have been asked to set local ambitions against alongside additional supporting data, such as substance use and criminal justice referral pathways. This report will enable local treatment systems to track emerging issues of importance.
