New beta version of the secure estate activity report released
A new beta version of the secure estate activity report for adults and young people has been released today. It utilises significant sections of the existing formatted adult report (available here: NDTMS - Quarterly prison reports) and displays the information in an interactive and visually informative way, enhancing the accessibility of the data captured via NDTMS. The report has been developed to enhance understanding of the prison substance misuse treatment system and enables you to interrogate the data quickly and easily using the multiple search functions on each page including quarterly & annual views alongside the ability to download and access data tables outside of the page. This new report will also be released monthly.
The report initially covers pathways to treatment, accessibility of treatment, activity at treatment discharge and treatment exit data indicators which highlight areas of current priority such as continuity of care, accommodation need and harm reduction. We will continue to produce the existing quarterly prison report until we have a full replacement product that at least provides the same level of data as the existing report. It is anticipated that we will continue to produce the existing report at least up to Q3/Q4 2024-25. Additional data items will be added to this beta version throughout 2024-25, including prison-to-prison transfers. You can help us prioritise the next set of data items to be added by completing this 2-minute survey https://forms.office.com/e/wiAAWGE5Hd [forms.office.com].
We welcome your comments on this version which can be sent to evidenceapplicationteam@dhsc.gov.uk.
Finally, OHID will be running two walkthrough sessions for the secure estate activity report to provide a detailed overview of the data, purpose and functionality of the tool as well as providing an opportunity for people to raise any questions or suggestions they might have. The dates and invites are below. Please feel free to attend either and to pass this onto others who might be interested.

Unmet need toolkit webinars to be rescheduled
Unfortunately, due to a technical issue with the mortality component of the unmet need toolkit, we have needed to remove it temporarily from NDTMS.Net.
Consequently, the walkthrough webinars planned for 6th and 9th February will now not be taking place and they will be rescheduled for later in the month. Apologies for any inconvenience this may cause.
