The initial report covers 13-14 activity, this will move to a quarterly release covering a twelve month rolling period. The purpose of these reports is to provide a fuller picture of residential rehab activity than is currently available through the existing quarterly provider activity reports.
The report contains both NDTMS figures and where possible a short introduction section with general information about each provider. The introduction section was compiled from a combination of data from rehab online and direct surveys.
If you represent one of the included providers and would like to update/amend the information in the introduction section please email EvidenceApplicationteam@phe.gov.uk.

Message from PHE:
We apologise for the continued down-time of our NDTMS systems. We understand the serious impact this will be having on all our stakeholders. Unfortunately we have to inform you that our systems will remain closed for the near future and it will not be possible to submit data to NDTMS at this time.
We are urgently working on multiple system enhancements and will test these with pilot treatment providers before a wider rollout.
Our initial area of focus will be the Prison DET, Community DET and CJIT DET (data entry) systems. The timescales for retrospective data entry will be adjusted to reflect the pressure that that these stakeholders are under.
We recognise the disruption this will be causing for commissioners and providers and will update you as soon as we have any further information.

Due to urgent system maintenance and security enhancements, the NDTMS systems used both for data submission by providers and for accessing reports are currently closed. This has impacted users in a number of ways. Treatment providers who use the NDTMS systems have been unable to record their data electronically in order to facilitate their monthly data submission for November. Therefore, monthly data submission by treatment providers is not possible for any November data until systems are reopened. Additionally, data analysis and reporting for October has been delayed and this will also cause a delay with the monthly pre-release statistics due on 4th December 2014. Similarly, data analysis and reporting for November will be delayed as treatment providers using the NDTMS systems will need time to enter data for treatment occurring during the system down-time. As a consequence of the system not being available, treatment providers have not been able to access reports in the normal manner.
Whilst it is hoped that the system enhancements will be completed by mid-December, this is not certain and a further notice will be sent on 12th December to inform you of the situation at that point. It is recognised that this may cause interruptions to usual working practices (including data entry) for which we sincerely apologise. We will be in touch to agree a realistic revised schedule enabling all treatment providers to submit, in a manageable way, a full data return as soon as possible. In the meantime, please feel free to contact your regional NDTMS team if you have requirements for copies of NDTMS reports normally accessible via the DAMS system. They will endeavour to meet these requests as an interim measure but users of NDTMS.Net should be able to access reports as usual. Please feel free to get in touch with your regional team to discuss any particular concerns or time pressures so that mitigating action can be considered.
